Carvallo had a fantastic location right in the heart of Old Cuenca. I loved the spaciousness and comfort of my room. it was bright and inviting. The staff were super friendly and always willing to help. Breakfast each morning was a treat with fresh juices, fruits, and hot dishes. I also appreciated the beautiful decor that blended classic elements with wooden accents. One downside, though, was the lack of an elevator, which might be tough for anyone with mobility issues. The WiFi could be spotty at times, making it a bit tricky to plan my day. Still, I felt immersed in the local charm and culture throughout my stay.

The charming architecture and welcoming staff make this an ideal base for exploring. The room was spacious with fantastic amenities, featuring an incredible shower. Breakfast was a highlight, with a lovely variety of options. However, the carpet in my room had a stain, and there were a few maintenance issues that needed addressing, but they quickly offered a room change when I mentioned it. Note that there was no elevator, which could be a concern for those with mobility issues.
